Vitinya Tunnel on Hemus Motorway Reopens to Traffic after Repairs

Vitinya tunnel on Hemus motorway in the direction towards Sofia is reopened for traffic from 20th of November.

The whole electrical system was changed and over 350 new LED lamps were installed. New video surveillance, fire protection and fire detection equipment have been put in place.

Traffic lights and road signs were installed to enhance traffic safety.
