The head of police in the city of Serres, Greece has promised that by 12th of June, the second lane on the Greek side, which is currently under repair, will start working and a third one may be opened if necessary.

By then, a police officer on the Bulgarian side and one on the Greek side will be assigned to regulate the traffic to prevent road accidents and ensure safety of the ttraffic.

The head of Southwest customs house assured that all weighing scales will be operational. As regards the demand about displays on the scales, he commented that funding needed to be found in order to purchase them.

The protest at the Kulata border crossing was peaceful and there were not unrests. The drivers said they would not continue the protest for now, but if the measures were not carried out within the promised deadlines, they would block the border.
