Total coronavirus cases registered in Bulgaria rises to 1921
The total cases of coronavirus confirmed in Bulgaria has risen to 1921 in the afternoon on May 9 after 10 more cases were registered since 08:00 in the morning, the daily 5 pm update shows.
Five more cases were registered in Pazardzhik, 4 in Kyustnedil and 1 in Vratsa.
Currently, 389 persons diagnosed with Covid-19 are in hospitals, 56 of them being in intensive care.
206 medical staff are infected with the virus, which is 11% of the total cases in the country.
Of the total 1921, 938 are men and 983 are women. The average age of the people diagnosed with the virus is 48.8 years.
The deaths are 90, after two more people died this afternoon.
