The suicide bomber who blew up a bus of tourists on 19 July 2012 at Sarafovo airport in the Bulgarian Seaside city of Bourgas has been identified, the Bulgarian interior minister said. The investigative authorities and the special services are aware of the man’s name, but they do not want to publicly disclose it yet.
According to BNT sources, the suicide bomber was born in Algeria, but lived in Morocco for a long time. Arab countries’ intelligence services identified that hewas trained in a terrorist camp in Lebanon. The terrorist and his two accomplices Hassan Hassan and Meliad Farah studied at the same university in the Lebanese capital Beirut.
Bulgarian Minister of Interior, Tsevtlin Yovchev, said that the latest findings confirmed the thesis of the investigation that the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah was behind the attack at Bourgas airport, which took the life of one Bulgarian and five Israeli citizens.
With regard to that, one of the key evidences is that the printer used to produce the fake documents of the suicide bomber and his accomplices was owned by a Hezbollah printing base in Lebanon, located in the International University in Beirut. The three terrorists took theflight from there to Warsaw and then to Bourgas to arrive at the beginning of July 2012, two weeks before the blast.
