Serbian President Vučić Arrives on Official Visit to Bulgaria on February 23

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, will arrive on a visit to Bulgaria on 23rd of February, at the invitation of the Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, the press-secretariat of the President said on 22nd of February.

The topics of the visit will include the European integration of Serbia, the prospects for the Western Balkans region in the context of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU, the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Serbia, and in particular the connectivity on our common border.

A ceremony for the official reception of Serbia’s head of state, Aleksandar Vučić, will be held at 10.00 am at the St. Alexander Nevski Square in Sofia. Vučić will lay a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier.

The two heads of state will have a "one-to-one" meeting at the President’s Office at 10.20 am, followed by the plenary talks of the official delegations of Bulgaria and Serbia.

At 11.35, in the Coat of Arms Hall, documents for bilateral cooperation in the field of labour and social policy will be signed in the presence of the Presidents Rumen Radev and Aleksandar Vučić.

At 11.40, the two presidents will hold a joint press conference.

During his visit, the Serbian President will meet with Bulgaria's Parliament Speaker Tsveta Karayancheva and Deputy Prime Minister for Justice Reform and Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva.
