Prime Minister Boyko Borissov convened an extraordinary meeting of the Security Council at the Council of Ministers on 20th of March, at which the situation after the terrorist acts in New Zealand and the Netherlands were discussed, the government press service announced.
It was concluded that the attack in New Zealand is an individual act. There is no data to indicate that that the detainee who was in Bulgaria at the end of last year was in contact with Bulgarian nationals.
The Security Council also addressed the issue of the Eastern Mediterranean energy projects in view of Bulgaria's national interests in this area.
