The payment of one-off aid of 300 BGN to farmers who voluntarily slaughtered their domestic pigs because of African Swine Fever began on September 2. The payments will take place under a schedule which is agreed with the mayors.
The aid is envisaged for owners of domestic pigs, grown in “back yards” and for personal consumption of the meat.
