Parliament adopted the report on the work of the anti-corruption commission
Bulgaria’s Parliament on May 28 adopted the report on the work of the Anti-Corruption Commission for last year.
The report reflects the opinion of the then Chief Prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov and current head of the anti-corruption body that the existing law has a positive effect on the activities for prevention of corruption.
According to him, tackling corruption is not the job of just one commission, but also goes through the plenary hall, which sets the tools for fighting corruption, including the Penal Code, which has not been changed since 1968, the Head of the anti-corruption Commission said.
