New BNT Project Presents the Priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency

The 30-minute weekly programme "#Europe" will present the priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency and the most important themes for united Europe in an accessible and understandable language.

The thematic features in the new production will show the different solutions of individual countries on issues of importance to the members of the public. The idea of the team is by popularizing foreign examples, Bulgarian viewers to get useful information and form their position on social, public and consumer issues.

Each of the themes in the "#Europe" programme will be presented analytically. Attractive virtual charts will demonstrate the individual parameters of the problem and allow for accurate comparisons.

"We will not miss the opportunity to show the good examples and to tell about the Bulgarian success," says producer Tatyana Taseva adding that guests in the new BNT show will be people who have been successful in developing their idea in Bulgaria and foreigners who run businesses in Bulgaria, as well as Bulgarians returning from abroad to realise their dreams here.

Analysts of EU processes will bring the expert point of view on each topic, which is in the focus of the programme.

In each edition of "# Europe" there will also be a special coverage on one of the countries in the EU family, as well as a module for European leaders - a story about the emblematic figures who have changed the history of Europe.

The presenter of the # Europe" show is the young and talented journalist of the Bulgarian National Television, Petar Georgiev, who since 2016 has been a BNT reporter. He has published materials in Bulgarian, British and German print and electronic media and has undergone internship programmes in the Guardian and Observer newspapers and in Sky Sports TV. Petar Georgiev graduated from the 91st German High School in Sofia. He studied journalism at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski "and at the University of Newcastle, UK. In 2017, he received an award from the Mtel Media Masters competition.
