The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria reached 522, the task force said on April 5.
26 people are in serious condition in intensive care wards and clinics.
The number of people confirmed to have had coronavirus and died has risen to 18 after a 49 year old man died in Pirogov emergency hospital in Sofia.
Some 24 new cases were registered across the country for the past 24 hours, 13 of which are in Sofia.
There is a 17 year old boy from Bourgas among the new cases and a family
of three people from Stara Zagora. Their son returned from the UK. The father
tested positive for the virus.
Out of all the cases across the country, there are 9 police officers. The medical staff who have tested positive are 23.
The oldest Covid-19 patient is 86 year old and the youngest is 1 year old.
According to the task force, 30% of the confirmed cases were people who returned from a trip or holiday abroad. At this stage of the circulation of the virus, mainly the outbreaks in the country are monitored.
The recoveries are 37.
