Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 105 new cases confirmed, total rises to 4513

One hundred and five (105) new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours from 2750 tests, the national information system said on June 27.

The total number of cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 4513.

Of the total, 392 are in hospitals, 18 of them in intensive care.

Inaddition to Sofia, where the number of cases in the largest, the data from the past 24 hours shows an increase in the number of cases in Bourgas – 15.

The latest cases were reported in the following districts: Blagoevgrad - 2; Bourgas - 15; Varna - 4; Vidin - 1; Vratsa - 7; Kardhzali - 3; Kyustendil - 4; Pazardzhik - 8; Pernik - 1; Pleven - 1; Plovdiv - 2; Razgrad - 2; Rousse - 4; Sliven - 4; Smolyan - 5; Sofia district - 7; Sofia city - 23; Stara Zagora - 5; Targovishte - 2; Haskovvo - 1; Shoumen - 2; Yambol - 2.

The medical professionals who tested positive for the virus are 389, including 5 new cases among them from the past 24 hours: 1 doctor, 2 nurses, 1 healthcare assistant and 1 other medical staff.

The total number of deaths is 215. Four people diagnosed with covid-19 died over the past 24 hours: a 38 year old woman with many underlying health conditions; a 74 year old man with diabetes; a 73 year old woman with no other illnesses and a 61 year old woman with heart disease.

Ministery of Health expresses condolences to the families and relatives of the deceased

Despite the increased number of cases, no change is expected in the anti-epidemic measures.
