At night, the temperatures may drop to -10 °C and during the day they will reach 0 °C. Low temperatures may be expected in March as well, Anastasia Stoycheva from the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences told BNT on 20th of February.
The minimum temperatures this week will be -1 °C and 4 °C, and the maximum will be between 2 °C and 7 °C. According to her, on Sunday, Monday and by the middle of next week, there will be a "cold snap” with typical winter minimum temperatures of -10 °C and -5 °C. Daytime temperatures will not exceed 0 °C.
