Bulgaria’s top tennis player, Grigor Dimitrov, passed the first round of the Australian Open after beating the Serbian Yanko Tipsarevic 3:1 on 14th of January.
Dimitrov encountered some difficulties in the first set, but gained an advantage in the second.
He closed the game after three consecutive sets in his favour - 6:3, 6:1, 6:4.
