Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev will deliver a speech to the UN General Assembly on September 26. The speech of the Bulgarian head of state is expected to take place around 5 pm Bulgarian time.

He is in New York for the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Yesterday, September 25, he met with his American counterpart, Donald Trump, at an official dinner in the White House. The Bulgarian President insisted on the removal of US visas for Bulgarian citizens and the linking of the strategic partnership with the US in the area of defence, with more American investments in Bulgaria.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva, who is a member of the Bulgarian delegation in New York, will today meet with her Costa Rican and Kyrgyzstan counterparts. Yesterday, the main focus of all her talks was the situation in Syria and Libya.
