Bulgaria opens a new page in relations with South Korea, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said on 25th of October after a meeting with the Prime Minister of South Korea , Lee Nak-yon, who is on a three-day official visit to Bulgaria from October 24 to October 26.
Korea is ready to invest primarily in automaking, IT and industrial technologies. As a first step in this direction, a Bulgarian-Korean Chamber of Commerce was established. PM Borissov has accepted the invitation to visit Korea.
South Korea is a leader in the automotive industry. There will be a boom of electric and cyber cars. Bulgaria will be an ideal place for investment and construction of a factory, PM Borisov said.
I welcome the opportunities for investment in Bulgaria, where there is a good tax policy and growth of the economy. The eastblished Bulgarian-Korean Chamber of Commerce will be helpful. Bilateral treaties will be prepared. Car production, the IT sector and industrial technologies are the sectors in which private companies can cooperate, he South Korean Prime Minister said.
