Bulgaria expands its visa centres in Russia, China and India

Bulgaria will expand its visa centres in Russia, China and India, Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva said on 20th of February after a meeting with the leadership of the Association of Honorary Consuls.

Ekaterina Zaharieva, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs: We are expanding the visa centers in Russia to over 50, in China to over 15, since March we will have visa centers in India. Negitiations are underway for Vietnam.

At the meeting Minister Zaharieva discussed the possibilities for working together in the area of Bulgaria’s international and economic relations.

Ekaterina Zaharieva, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs: Bulgaria’s economy is a top priority. Bulgaria should be good. This can be done through culture and tourism, which would contribute to the development of the Bulgarian business.

Minister Zaharieva informed the leadership of the Association of Honorary Consuls that at the Ministry's initiative, a meeting of all honorary consuls representing Bulgaria would be organised in October. Such a forum could contribute to attracting investments to Bulgaria.

Ekaterina Zaharieva, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs: I think Honorary Consuls can do a great job and they do it. I am grateful to many honorable consuls for the support of the development of the Bulgarian business.
