6 Goal Spectacular Display in Berbatov and Figo’s All Stars Charity Match

The star teams of Dimitar Berbatov and Luis Figo ended in a draw, 3:3, in the charity match organized by the two players, which took place in Sofia on 14th of June. The show at the national stadium "Vasil Levski" was viewed by over 35 thousand spectators.

The start of the game was at a very high pace. David Trezege from Luis Figo's team scored a brilliant goal in the 4^th minute.

Berbatov's team equalized in the 8th minute as Carlos Marchena scored an own goal.

Just three minutes later, Trezege scored his second goal in the match after Michel Salgado's assistance, who was left undisturbed to enter the penalty area.

Shortly after that, Berbatov could equalize, but his fifth shot was saved by Jens Lehmann.

Half an hour later, the legend of Bulgarian football, Hristo Stoichkov, was substituted by Martin Petrov. All Stars palyer, Celestine Babayaro, came in to replace Dimas, who suffered a heavy blow to the groin.

Five minutes later, one of the Bulgarian talents, Bojidar Chorbadzhiyski, replaced one of Manchester United legends - Gary Neville.

In the closing minutes of the first half, United Stars equalised the score. A very familiar combination between Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane ended with a shot by the latter.

At the start of the second half, the two managers, Martin Jol and Avram Grant, made changes and Stilian Petrov, Simao Sabrosa, Shota Arvelladze, Luis Saha and Luis Boa Morte appeared on the pitch.

Simao Sabrosa scored in the 54-minute thus providing 3:2 result.

In the 69th minute, Robbie Kean scored his second goal in the match after finding a low centering on Martin Petrov's left and sent the ball into the Lehmann goal for the third time.
